How We Began and Grew
Our Beginning
We believe in a world where every woman is treated with dignity, respect, and equality.
The Community Encouragement Foundation (CEF) was founded in 2003 to support marginalized women and communities in Sri Lanka.
Our Growth
Today, CEF has grown into a community of over 700+ active members working across the country. We continue to stand up for the rights of women—especially those facing stigma, such as sex workers, single mothers, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
